After seeing hundreds of clients over more than twenty years, we know that no individual or couple’s needs are the same as another. One approach does not work for everyone, but there are life-changing aspects to many types of therapy. Each situation, person and time in our lives may require a unique approach.
We use a customized, personalized approach to meet your needs. Our passion over the years has been learning new, evidence-based therapeutic modalities. As therapists, our practice changes over time as new ideas and research evolve. The benefit of learning these new approaches is that with more areas of expertise we can better serve our clients’ individual needs using a combined approach.
Step 1
We will start with you, just as you are. We will open the layers of your situation and approach your challenges with a sense of curiosity. The feelings you have today are a doorway, a gateway to the future you want to create tomorrow.
Once we understand your situation and your point of view, we will create a unique, individualized style of therapy based on a combination of techniques specifically for you and the problem at hand.
Step 2
As we address your current circumstances, the past will come to the surface. All of us bring traces of our past to each situation. Together we will explore your frame of reference and how it is affecting your present experience. We will look for patterns in your action to uncover core beliefs that may be influencing your experience and your relationships.
Step 3
To ensure a future filled with love, joy, fun, richness, and depth, we will implement a plan of action and develop new skill sets that build on your strengths.
